Interpretação de Anomalias Aeromagnéticas da Região do Quadrilátero Ferrífero

Abstract

The methodology for geophysical interpretation of magnetic anomalies, including upward continuation, reduction to the pole and linear and nonlinear inversion, has been applied on aeromagnetic data from the Ouadrilátero Ferrífero (MG). The isolated anomalies associated with some of the main structural features of the region (ltabira District, Ouro Fino and Gandarela synclines) have been analysed. The obtained results indicate a possibility of high induced and remanent magnetization in the studied region.
