Variação em Função da Hora Local e da Atividade Magnética da Precipitação de Elétrons na Anomalia Magnética do Atlântico Sul
Abstract
Using a Fokker-Planck equation, a theoretical analysis of the electron diffusion in the inner radiation belt considering only multiple Coulomb scattering is done. The results show that the energetic electron precipitation varies with local time and with magnetic activity, in association with the neutral atmospheric density variations. It is shown that the precipitated electron flux varies with local time in a similar way that the atmospheric density does and increases by over a factor of two with the magnetic activity.
