The Scientific Session Proposals for the SBGf Conference (19th CISBGf) are now open for review and acceptance by the Program Committee. Once approved, these proposals will be allocated as oral or poster sessions based on the abstract submission process.
Key Dates:
– Call for Proposals: 20 June 2024 – 30 July 2024
– Proposal Acceptance/Rejection Notification by Technical Committee: 15 August 2024
– Call for Abstracts: 15 April – 15 June 2025
– Abstract Acceptance/Rejection Notification: 15 August 2025
– Conference: November 2025
Detailed Proposal Requirements: Restrictions and Specifications
– Proposal Content: Must include title, abstract (maximum 500 words), keywords, and suggested chair and co-chair of the session.
– Conveners: Each session must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 conveners from at least 2 different institutions.
– Submission Period: Proposals must be submitted from 20 June 2024 until 20 July 2024 through the SBGf website.
– Onsite Attendance: At least one chair must be present onsite in Rio de Janeiro during the 19th CISBGf conference.
– Abstract Review: Conveners must be available to review and accept/reject submitted abstracts for their sessions.
– The CISBGf Program Committee will review session proposals through mid-October 2024. If your session is accepted, it will be open to receive abstract submissions through April 2025.
